OBJECTS ACCEPTED
In order to build a more inclusive collection and exhibits that represent the communities of Schroon Lake and North Hudson, NY as a whole, the Schroon-North Hudson Historical Society Museum will accept donations of artifacts, archival materials, and historic information that represent the villages of Schroon Lake and North Hudson, NY. Objects that provide a glimpse into the daily lives and culture of our two towns in the past are of huge interest to the museum. |
ARTIFACTSFor example: Dishware from old resorts, memorabilia from old children's camps such as banners and uniforms, items that your family used through the generations.

PhotographsMany families have collections of old photos from their days visiting or living in the Schroon Lake or North Hudson region. Sadly when loved ones pass, these treasures are often discarded. Why not donate them to the museum? Often a photo can give us a very good glimpse into the past.

Records/ResearchOften a family has a family historian that has done in depth research on a family member or the entire family that lived in Schroon Lake or North Hudson, NY. Why not donate that completed research to the museum to be archived for the future use of decedents for years to come.
